Named as one of the San Jose area’s leading ophthalmologists by San Jose Magazine, Dr. Dan Beers practices at Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group in Mountain View. Serving Mountain View and the entire Silicon Valley region, Dr. Dan Beers has established Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group as a destination for Lasik procedures, Restor lens implants, and cataract surgery and utilizes the very latest in IntraLase and VISX technologies.

A participant in early FDA laser studies at Oregon Health Sciences during the completion of his advanced ophthalmology training, Dr. Dan Beers has since gained comprehensive expertise in the most innovative, accurate forms of laser eye correction. Additionally, Dr. Dan Beers is one of only a few ophthalmologists in the Silicon Valley area who has completed training in the implantation of Visian Implantable Collomer Lenses in those patients who do not qualify for laser vision correction or cataract surgery.

Complementing his work in private practice, Dr. Dan Beers is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Stanford University and Chief of Ophthalmology at El Camino Hospital. He recently gave the Grand Rounds lecture “Recent Advances in Intraocular Lens Technology” to other physicicans. Dr. Dan Beers participates in the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

A resident of Los Altos, Dr. Dan Beers enjoys spending time away from the office with his wife and children. Dr. Dan Beers is also an avid golfer and cyclist.
