Dr. Jennifer's Status Updates

Since July 2004, Dr. Jennifer Walden has delivered the highest quality plastic and reconstructive surgical treatments to her numerous patients at Jennifer L. Walden, M.D., F.A.C.S. in New York City. Showing her superlative potential at an early age, Dr. Jennifer Walden attended the University of Texas at Austin from August 1990 through May 1994, majoring in biology. While there, Dr. Jennifer Walden maintained a number of memberships in collegiate organizations, including the Alpha Epsilon Delta Premedical Honor Society, the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, and the Golden Key National Honor Society; additionally, she won the Pi Beta Phi Outstanding Scholarship Award. Dr. Jennifer Walden graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 with a B.A. in Biology. After college, Dr. Jennifer Walden gained admission to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she spent the next four years studying all facets of medicine. During this period, Dr. Jennifer Walden maintained a consistent presence on the Deans list and won several significant accolades and honors, including the Vaughn Foundation Scholarship for Continued Academic Excellence, the Donald P. Duncan Memorial Scholarship Award in Anatomy, the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Award and Achievement Citation, the Merck Manual Award, and the Herman Barnett Memorial Award. A student leader as well, Dr. Jennifer Walden was elected Vice President, and later President, of the University of Texas Medical Branchs chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor. In May 1998, Dr. Jennifer Walden earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch, graduating as class salutatorian. From July 1998 to June 2003, Dr. Jennifer Walden fulfilled her residency in the Department of Surgery and its Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Jennifer Walden received a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Jennifer Walden went on to serve in associate attending positions at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospitals. Dr. Jennifer Walden also currently holds the rank of Program Director of the Aesthetic Surgery fellowship program at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.
