Dr. Juan Bravo brings nearly a decade of experience to his current position as the founder and manager of his own medical practice, Juan Bravo MD PL, where he specializes in hyperbaric medicine and wound care. Dr. Bravo comes from a multi-generational line of medical professionals within his family and takes enormous pride in his ability to serve his patients and his community in not one but two different medical specialties. In addition to being certified in family medicine, Dr. Bravo is one of only 24 physicians who are board certified in hyperbaric medicine in the state of Florida, Dr. Bravo’s life saving services are in great demand. Dr. Juan Bravo is dedicated to passing on his extensive knowledge and experience to other members of the medical community. He is an expert speaker regarding both of his specialties at numerous medical conferences every year, often sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, such as Pfizer. Dr. Bravo also frequently leads medical students and teens interested in careers in medicine through his clinic, so they can see his often life-saving work first hand and learn more about wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Juan Bravo attended the University of Puerto Rico for his undergraduate studies, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Industrial Microbiology. Dr. Bravo then attended the Ponce School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr. Bravo completed his residency through the University of South Florida College of Medicine at the Bayfront Medical Center in Saint Petersburg, Florida. When he is not working, Dr. Juan Bravo enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Juan Bravo lives and operates his medical practice out of Broward County, Florida.
