Karen Lapesarde holds dual degrees from the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Language. Dr. Lapesarde later attended Boston University Medical School, where she completed her Doctor of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Lapesarde completed her postgraduate medical training internship and residency at the Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Karen Lapesarde is Board Certified as an OB/GYN and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lapesarde remains a member of the California Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Karen Lapesarde has been serving the Los Angeles community for over 16 years.
