Since 2005, Dr. Kenneth Friedman has provided health care for patients throughout the greater metropolitan area of Raleigh, North Carolina, as a physician and founder of Cardiology Associates. Affiliated with Johnston Health, Cardiology Associates focuses on heart-related diagnoses and treatments, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technologies to provide high standards of inpatient and outpatient care. Dr. Kenneth Friedman and his experienced team are committed to providing an individualized approach for every patient. Dr. Kenneth Friedman has the distinct honor of being the first doctor to implant a defibrillator in a community hospital setting. Dr. Kenneth Friedman draws on his passion for medicine in his leisure time as well as during his professional pursuits. Dr. Kenneth Friedman regularly volunteers with free health care provider Project Access, a program targeting uninsured and low-income residents of North Carolina’s Johnston County. Dr. Friedman also supports the Humane Society of the United States, Feed the Children, and the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Prior to establishing Cardiology Associates, Dr. Kenneth Friedman earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology.
