Dr. Lana Rozenberg leverages over a decade and a half of experience practicing cosmetic dentistry to run her New York City practice, Dental Day Spa.     As the owner of Rozenberg Dental Day Spa, Lana Rozenberg, D.D.S., treats patients with the latest technologies. From her Upper West Side, Manhattan, office, Dr. Rozenberg performs general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, and she has earned coverage in Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, and several other publications. To remain up-to-date on the latest innovations in her profession, Lana Rozenberg, D.D.S., joined the American Dental Association (ADA).

    The world’s most significant dental organization, the ADA was established more than 150 years ago to improve oral health for dentists and patients alike through increased knowledge and access to information. First founded by 26 dentists in Niagara Falls, New York, in 1859, today, the ADA boasts more than 157,000 members, along with 400 employees at its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, and office in Washington, D.C. The ADA consists of a legislative body, the House of Delegates with 473 members; an elected administrative body, the Board of Trustees; and councils that serve as its lobbying arm. Guidelines and policy statements issued by the organization offer the ADA’s official position a variety of topics affecting dental hygiene, including sedation and general anesthesia, the human papillomavirus, and fluoridation.

    To better inform the public about matters related to their oral health, the ADA created a seal program. The organization analyzes toothpastes, toothbrushes, mouthwashes, chewing gum, and other products. If these items meet the group’s criteria, it places its mark on it. More than 300 products currently bear the ADA seal.

    The ADA Foundation functions as the group’s philanthropic branch. It donates supplies to individuals in need, creates programs that teach children about dental health, and offers scholarships to students of dental medicine.

    Aside from belonging to the ADA, Lana Rozenberg, D.D.S., also holds membership with the First District Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
