Roman Pachulski, MD’s medical career has led him across the United States and Canada as a lecturer, professor, and practitioner. Though his career spans diverse geographical locations, Dr. Pachulski’s work continues to focus on cardiac electrophysiology. Roman T. Pachulski, MD, has directed electrophysiology labs and arrhythmia centers across the U.S. Dr. Pachulski began studying cardiac medicine during a fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute from 1988 to 1990. Upon completing the program, Roman Pachulski, MD, stayed at the university for one year as a staff cardiologist, and then moved to the United States for an electrophysiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The position allowed him to hone his specialty, and in 1992, he accepted a position as the Director of the University of California, Davis’ Arrhythmia Services and Electrophysiology Lab. While at UC Davis, Dr. Pachulski also worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and was invited to present several lectures on topics such as implantable cardioverter defibrillators and the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias. From 1993 to 1998, Roman Pachulski, MD, worked at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and volunteer faculty member. During this time, he traveled around the state and the region to give lectures, visiting several North Carolina cities as well as South Carolina and Georgia. In 1998, Dr. Pachulski moved to New York and remained there until 2004, working first at Stony Brook University and then at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 2004, Roman Pachulski, MD, relocated to San Antonio, Texas, where he opened the cardiac electrophysiology practice South Texas Heartbeat, PA. He has continued to honor requests to lecture around the state. In addition to acting as a cardiologist, Dr. Pachulski is the author of four medical books and more than a dozen articles on cardiology research.
