A noted Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Dr. Salomon Epstein serves as the Physician in charge at Brooklyn Women’s Services, a clinic with offices in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. In 1977, Dr. Salomon Epstein attained a New York State license to operate Brooklyn Women’s Services. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Salomon Epstein earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). One of the largest schools in Latin America, UBA began in 1821. Since its inception, the university has expanded to incorporate 13 discreet schools and 6 hospitals that accommodate various clinical education efforts and research pursuits. In Argentina, students must complete a year of basic study after high school before they can enter the university of their choice. UBA is the highest ranked school in Argentina and remains one of the top universities in the world. The UBA community includes a number of internationally-renowned figures, including revolutionary leader Che Guevara and Nobel Prize laureates Carlos Saavedra Lamas, César Milstein, Luis Federico Leloir, and Bernardo Houssay. In addition, 14 former Presidents of Argentina studied at UBA. After earning his degree from UBA, Dr. Salomon Epstein traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he completed an internship in General Surgery at the Jewish Hospital under the direction of Dr. Henry Heimlich. He subsequently relocated to New York City and served as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s affiliated hospitals in the Bronx. Dr. Salomon Epstein has treated patients in New York through his private practice for more than three decades.
