A member of the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Soon Kuyn Kim provides leadership in the medical community through serving as President and CEO of Signature Healthcare Services, LLC. Since beginning his career in the 1970s, Dr. Kim has expanded his understanding of psychiatry through continuous learning, operated his own private practice, served as Medical Director for multiple hospitals, and founded Signature Healthcare Services. Additionally, Dr. Kim maintains affiliations with several professional organizations.

Starting out by studying medicine in South Korea, Dr. Soon K. Kim obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Seoul National University in 1966. He then spent one year as an Intern at the Niagara Falls Medical Center in New York. Later, he moved to Eloise, Michigan, accepting a residency at Wayne County General Hospital. Dr. Kim spent four years with Wayne County General, first as a Resident in general psychiatry, then as a Fellow in community psychiatry.

Soon after completing his fellowship, Dr. Soon K. Kim opened his own practice. A few years later, he earned certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., and became a diplomate of the organization. He also worked for over two decades as the Medical Director for numerous hospitals and medical associations, including Michigan Healthcare Corporation.

Certified in geriatric psychiatry, Dr. Soon K. Kim manages seven psychiatric facilities in three states. His centers work with a multitude of individuals of varying ages to treat them for mental health problems including addiction. In addition to running Signature Healthcare Services, Dr. Soon K. Kim serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Southern California Davis School of Gerontology.
