A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Duane Grantham earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and quickly established himself as a singularly gifted executive in the transportation and shipping industries. Most recently, Duane Grantham evidenced his insight and drive as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Charleston International Ports, LLC in South Carolina, an emerging venture with 100 acres and five piers at the former Charleston Naval Base. During his tenure with Charleston International Ports, LLC, Duane Grantham architected and installed the entirety of the company’s operational infrastructure, and he induced profitability two years ahead of schedule. Duane Grantham’s other accomplishments with Charleston International Ports, LLC include outsourcing labor during periods of less than full operation and outsourcing accounting to improve the reliability of data. Previously, Duane Grantham was Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at the South Carolina Ports Authority and guided the organization to unprecedented profitability and productivity. Duane Grantham began his career with United States Lines as a European Division Account Manager. Subsequently, Duane Grantham continued to increase United States Lines’ market shares in its South American and African divisions.
