new to bigsightFort Worth, TexasEdward Sevadjian has been encompassed by racing and sports car development since the age of six, making it hard to imagine him doing anything other than working in the automotive industry. From 1999 to 2005, Sevadjian studied both business and history at Colorado State University, remaining highly active in a variety of sports and academic clubs and working hard to return to Texas and race Corvettes. Today, Edward Sevadjian is the President of Duntov Motor Company LLC, which originally developed around the recreation of a legendary racecar, the Grand Sport #003. Forty years later, in March 2005, the Duntov LightWeight was created with the hard work and help of Sevadjian. Edward Sevadjian is a current member of the Sports Car Club of America, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, Historic Sportscar Racing, North Texas Karters, and a variety of other automotive groups and organizations in the Northern Texas area. Sevadjian has participated in a variety of races, including the 2006 HSR Walter Mitty Challenge, in which Edward and his father, Alan, came in 5th place, racing the Duntov LightWeight Corvette. GM’s marketing department has even dubbed the car, which is comprised of many original parts, as being a painstakingly faultless reproduction of the original. Since March 2005, Edward Sevadjian has been vigorously working in the Corvette parts and sales industry. As President of Duntov Motor Company, Edward Sevadjian is responsible for ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently. Sevadjian works closely with seasoned fabricators, metalworkers, engine men, and racers. His father is also a prominent figure in both the company and the Corvette racing community.
