Edwin Philogene is a seasoned brand marketing and business development professional whose career has spanned the brand advertising, technology and media/ entertainment industries for over a decade. He most recently served as Manager, OEM Marketing Programs for media pioneer Sirius Satellite Radio, where he managed the company¹s alliance marketing initiatives with auto partners including BMW, Ford, Nissan and Volkswagen. Previously, Edwin served as an independent consultant on mobile content strategies for America Online and as Manager, Product Marketing for mobile internet applications at telecommunications equipment leader Ericsson. While at Ericsson, he established and headed the marketing team for the company¹s Global Product Area Entertainment, which focused on the sourcing, provisioning and marketing of entertainment applications for third generation wireless environments. He also functioned as evangelist for Ericsson¹s activities within the space and has been cited by several media outlets including The Associated Press, USA Today and Business Week on the topic of mobile entertainment. Prior to Ericsson, Edwin worked at Arnell Group, an integrated advertising and branding agency, currently a unit of the Omnicom Group. At Arnell, he guided the activity of the Tommy Hilfiger and Fila national advertising accounts and rose from initial roles in account management to become principal founder and president of the agency group¹s youth trend and urban marketing consultancy called Phenom. Edwin began his career at MTV Networks and Vibe magazine, where he worked in the areas of marketing and advertising sales respectively. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Edwin is a graduate of Cornell University. He is currently seeking his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
