Elaine Lam serves as a Certified Endodontist at Precision Endodontics and Microsurgery and Associate Clinical Professor with UBC Faculty of Dentistry in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 2010, as part of Elaine Lam’s work as an Associate Clinical Professor, she was awarded a Fourth Year Part Time Teaching Award. Elaine Lam also serves as a Treasurer for the British Columbia Society of Endodontics and as British Columbia Chair for Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network. Elaine Lam’s first position as a dentist was in general dentistry, working with her father Dr. Yu-Ming Lam in Vancouver. In this position, Elaine Lam practiced dentistry, which included working with children, adults, and children with disabilities to better their oral health. Elaine Lam worked closely with specialists in endodontics, prosthodontics, restorative, periodontics, orthodontics, pedodontics, and oral surgery. Before becoming a Dentist and Endodontist, Elaine Lam obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Cornell University. While at Cornell, Elaine Lam studied Biology. Elaine Lam then attended McGill University Faculty of Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2005. Upon graduating from dental school, Elaine earned a Certificate in Endodontics from Temple University’s Graduate Department of Endodontics. After obtaining the certificate, Elaine Lam became a certified Specialist in Endodontics in British Columbia in 2008. The same year, Elaine Lam completed a Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
