Elga Koehler is an alumnus of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, where she received her degrees in Business Management and Fashion Design. While attending FIT, Elga Koehler was honored by having one of her designs chosen for a year-end fashion show held by the school.

Elga Koehler is a management professional who has distinguished herself through several notable management positions. Ms. Koehler has entered the Healthcare field after the closing of her retail business. In Elga Koehler’s current position as Credentials Coordinator for The Stone Center of New Jersey, Ms. Koehler implements and directs the verification of credentials for initial appointments and reappointments, assisting physicians to obtain core privileges in accordance with JCAHO accreditation standards, federal and state regulatory compliance and facility Bylaws, Rules and Regulations. Elga Koehler develops, revises and monitors credentialing and privileging forms as required, establishing tracking mechanisms to ensure completion within established timeframes. Ms. Elga Koehler recently expanded her role to include assisting the medical staff committee chairpersons in fulfilling their respective committee and departmental responsibilities.

Elga Koehler is the former Director of Stores for Milburn, New Jersey-based CBH Incorporated. Elga Koehler conducted all aspects of CBH Incorporated’s business, from training and managing a staff of 30 to analyzing market trends for buying plans and devising strategic sales techniques. Elga Koehler’s work with CBH Incorporated helped the store capture a great deal of market share. Ms. Koehler diligently cultivated exclusive vendor relationships that allowed her to establish sourcing and pricing of a private label collection sold only at her location. Elga Koehler led CBH Incorporated as it grew and became the largest bridal store in New Jersey. During Ms. Koehler’s tenure, sales revenue grew 10% annually for 11 out of 12 years.

Today, Elga Koehler resides in Rahway, New Jersey. In her free time she enjoys reading the works of Jane Austen and Anne Rice.

    Alterations Manager
    Solely accountable for daily operations and performance of Alterations Workroom for this $20M Bridal Retailer. Directed multilingual alterations work room of 28 seamstresses and six fitters. Served as primary liaison between workroom and retail store. Monitored operational performance of workroom: staffing, payroll budgets and reporting and handled performance reviews. Responsible for generating and maintaining detailed reports of order status and delivery on a weekly and monthly basis.
