Mountain View, California resident Emre Kulali is the co-founder and COO of Volta Energy, a company dedicated to revolutionize the energy efficiencies of; Commercial & Industrial Facilities, Data Centers and Utilities through its low cost disruptive hardware and software technology that delivers to its customers a minimum 10% savings in the electricity consumption. A longtime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, Emre Kulali completed his graduate studies at Santa Clara University and worked in Silicon Valley for more than a decade in the design automation and semiconductor industries before launching his own Cleantech firm with co-founder, Denis Kouroussis.

While still enrolled in Engineering Management graduate studies at Santa Clara University, Emre Kulali worked at Apache Design Solutions as an Area Technical Manager. With the San Jose based company, Emre Kulali managed key accounts including Intel, ATI/AMD, and Broadcom. During his five-year tenure at Apache, Emre Kulali coauthored a published technical papers and worked closely with key customers to design and verify power delivery networks of various processors and GPUs, which delivered significant yield improvements and faster time to market design cycles. Emre Kulali has also served as a senior software engineer at CoWare, where he worked on system level design and SystemC.

At Volta Energy, Emre Kulali and his management team work to build the company into a dominant presence in the energy management and building automation industries. A long-time believer in the efficiency of tight-knit teams, Emre Kulali works closely with Denis Kouroussis, co-founder and CEO at Volta, Advisory Board members and the engineering team.
