Eric Cunningham attended the University of Virginia (Class of 2006) where he studied Foreign Affairs and Religious Studies. He was the chair of the University Programs Council and a Class Trustee. He was a columnist for the Cavalier Daily, an orientation leader, and a student leader for the Day of Dialogue on Race (a new program that takes 2nd and 3rd years in leadership roles and exposes them to a day of talking about race).
