Independent medical researcher Ernesto Prieto Gratacós has led a distinguished career in oncology and alternative medicine. Ernesto Prieto Gratacós has written scientific books and articles, and founded several research centers. Currently, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós serves as the Chief Scientific Officer for the Centro de Oncología Complementaria y Medicina Ortomolecular (CeOC, Center for Complementary Oncology and Orthomolecular Medicine) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A native of Cuba, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós studied and worked with numerous prestigious Cuban scientists and medical doctors in the eighties and nineties, including Aníbal Pentón, Hugo Pérez, Ralph Alan Dale, Guillermo Prado, and Lino Tomasén. Through this work, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós was affiliated with a range of groups, including the Centro para Investigaciones en Medicina Tradicional Asiática (CIMTA, Center for Research into Traditional Asian Medicine), the Instituto de Investigaciones Fundamentales del Cerebro (ININFUNCE, Institute for Fundamental Brain Research), and the Centro Internacional de Restauración Neurológica (CIREN, International Center for Neurological Rehabilitation). In 1993, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós founded Hiperstudio, an experimental workshop dedicated to advancing techniques in accelerated learning. Under the auspices of the Cuban Center for Neurotransplantation, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós participated in the creation of the Federación Internacional de Medicina Holística (International Federation for Holistic Medicine). Furthermore, in 1999, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós established the Laboratorio de Ingeniería Evolutiva Humana (Human Evolutionary Engineering Laboratory) with his own funds. From 2003 until 2005, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós was involved in a series of research collaborations and business ventures. Ernesto Prieto Gratacós launched RQK Asset Management and Combate Extremo SA, among other commercial firms, with the goal of raising funds for independent scientific research. In 2008, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós founded his current firm, the Centro de Oncología Complementaria y Medicina Ortomolecular. Dedicated to integrative and holistic treatment of cancer and other degenerative illnesses, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós develops multimodal treatment systems. Ernesto Prieto Gratacós was the first researcher to apply orthomolecular medicine to holistic cancer treatment. A member of the Life Extension Foundation and the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine, Ernesto Prieto Gratacós has published articles on subjects such as biochemistry, immunology, aging, and other topics.
