Mr. Evan C. Williams is an environmentally conscious land developer based in New Zealand and has founded and developed a number of waterfront developments in Northland and Auckland and Bay of Islands, among others.

With degrees in Law on both the Masters and Bachelors level with honors from Wellington, New Zealand’s Victoria University, Evan C. Williams initially worked as a member of the Law Faculty for his alma mater, before becoming a private equity and real estate entrepreneur. Evan Williams holds leadership positions in numerous corporations apart from serving as founder, Chairman and CEO for Williams Land Limited. Mr. Williams has served as Director for AerCo Limited, an Irish aviation firm and presently serves as director for Parents, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to making life better for parents and their children through programs and community outreach and The Waterfront Fund, a New Zealand partnership formed to hold coastal property in New Zealand and Fiji.

Early on, Mr. Williams held his teaching position at Victoria University for three years and engaged his students with thoughtful legal discourse. Evan C. Williams then moved to the field of commercial law and took a position with the New Zealand law firm of Chapman Tripp. Evan Williams remained with Chapman Tripp for the next decade as a partner, board member, managing partner and chairman until his retirement in 1995.

Upon leaving Chapman Tripp, Evan Williams embarked on the next leg of his career as a businessman. Evan C. Williams subsequently took the lead role in the development of Denarau Island, the a resort in the South Pacific. Initially interested in private equity and land development, Evan Williams would go on to found his own land development firm: Williams Land Limited. Williams Land is committed to preserving natural beauty and open space, and endeavors to build environmentally sound developments.
