A marketing and communications professional with nearly 10 years of relevant experience, Folashade Adebere currently performs as Marketing Project Manager for PJ Adex Consulting which she partly own, based in Nigeria and the USA. Born and raised in Nigeria, Folashade Adebere gained admission to Lagos State Polytechnic, where she excelled in her studies and cultivated an early proficiency in marketing and advertising. After graduating from Lagos State Polytechnic in 2001 with a degree in Marketing (with distinction), and commencing the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Folashade Adebere accepted an internship with Computer Systems Associates (CSA) in Lagos. From June 2001 through April 2002, Folashade Adebere served as an intern, and later, Public Relations Officer at Computer Systems Associates, gaining essential, real-world experience in marketing and corporate affairs from the financial institution software development company. As a result of Folashade Adebere’s exemplary performance as Public Relations Officer, Computer Systems Associates promoted her to Corporate Affairs Officer, in which she enjoyed expanded responsibilities in the management of corporate communications, publicity, and media relations.
While in this role, Folashade commenced her student membership and subsequent studies and examinations with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK
In 2003, Folashade Adebere relocated to England, completed her Professional Postgraduate diploma at the CIM and commenced her graduate studies at the University of Portsmouth, where she ultimately earned her Master of Arts degree in Marketing and Electronic Commerce in March 2005. During her tenure at the University of Portsmouth, Folashade Adebere began a two-year stint as a Marketing Strategy and Development Consultant for Neptune Software Plc in London.

Folashade Adebere later returned to Lagos to serve as Assistant Brand Manager for Procter & Gamble and worked on promotional strategies for Always feminine care products. Since then, Folashade Adebere has moved to the United States, performed as Business Development Manager and Consultancy. She also gained PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute, becoming a member of the PMI Washington DC chapter. Folashade Adebere holds membership in the Chartered Institute of Marketing-U.K to this day.
