About: Francis Greco
New York native Francis Greco supports numerous nonprofit organizations in his area, including the Association to Benefit Children, City Harvest, and the Coalition for the Homeless. Francis Greco volunteers and contributes financially to these groups, as well as the Children’s Hunger Fund, the Full Belly Project, and the Children’s Aid Society, all of which work locally and internationally to provide food, education, and shelter services to impoverished families. While Francis Greco utilizes his free time to work with charities, his career is dedicated to the financial sector. After 15 years with Lehman Brothers during the financial boom of the 1990s, Francis Greco garnered an expertise in executing strategic advisory mandates for other depository institutions. Francis Greco also worked for the FIG department at Credit Suisse Group. Today, Francis Greco serves as the Managing Director of the investment firm Cowen and Company, where he has worked since November 2009. In this role, Francis Greco provides advisory services to depository institutions such as credit unions, savings and loans (S&L) groups, and commercial banks. Francis Greco assists these clients in developing strategic mandates. In addition to his professional experience, Francis Greco holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from York University in Toronto, Canada. An athlete at Yale, Francis Greco now enjoys keeping up with his favorite sport through NFL and Fantasy Football. Francis Greco is also an avid reader, listing Dreams of My Father and To Kill a Mockingbird as his favorite books.
