As the Director of Sales for Janus Capital Group’s Advisor Solutions Group, investment executive Frank Vantrepotte of Cary, IL, applies more than a decade of experience in his profession. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from Loyola University Chicago in 1999. At the time of his graduation, Frank Vantrepotte was already working in financial services, serving as a Junior Associate at The Consulting Group, a division of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Working closely with the group’s Senior Vice President, he participated in the development of marketing materials and proposals as well as investment policy statements.

In 2000, Frank Vantrepotte joined the Sales Department of Van Kampen Investments, Inc., as an Internal Sales Consultant, selling company products to financial advisors in New York and Vermont. He remained in this role until 2002, when he accepted a position as the Senior Vice President of Investments for Kelmoore Investment Company, Inc., in Palo Alto, California. Responsible for sales of hedge fund style products to advisors in the Midwest, Frank Vantrepotte earned the company’s Top Gun sales award for two of the nearly four years he spent with the company.

In his current role, Frank Vantrepotte applies his considerable internal sales experience and knowledge of the Midwest. He has received recognition as the Regional Director of the Year for two years and is the company’s highest-ranking sales representative. Over the past six years, he has sold over $1 billion in investment products, exceeding his annual goals by between 30 and 40 percent annually.

In his free time, Mr. Vantrepotte enjoys a variety of active pursuits, including boating, whitewater rafting, and rock climbing, and is otherwise an active member of Cary, IL.
