Currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer, Fred Khoroushi founded Alpine Armoring Inc. in March of 1993. During his tenure, the armored vehicle producer and supplier has won several United States government contracts, including deals with the U.S. military and the U.S. Governments General Services Administration, the former of which required 60 commercial heavy armor cars. Aside from the U.S. government, Alpine Armoring Inc. provides armored vehicles to the United Nations. Over the past decade, Alpine Armoring Inc., under the direction of Fred Khoroushi, expanded to countries such as China and nations from the former Soviet Union, becoming the first supplier of armored cars to do so. More recently, the company has delivered SUV type armored vehicles to the U.S. military for its peacekeeping missions in Kosovo, and its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition to his responsibilities at Alpine Armoring Inc., Fred Khoroushi also serves as President of Alpine Aeronautical LLC, American Aeronautical Corp, and Camia Investment LLC. Prior to assuming his current positions, Fred Khoroushi worked in the private sector, and also taught engineering and business management at different colleges and universities. Furthermore, he previously held the position of the District of Columbia’s Chief Fleet Manager. Two years after he graduated in 1980 from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Fred Khoroushi entered the University of Dallas to pursue his Master of Business Administration, which he obtained in 1984. A regular race participant for more than 20 years, Fred Khoroushi has run in the Army ten milers, Marine Corps Marathon and the New York City Marathon. He regularly supports various charities, including Doctors without Borders and The Planetary Society.
