A professional with a wide range of technical, business, and managerial skills, Frederick Teitman works with the General Electric Company (GE) within its Mining Division as a Commercial Operations Manager. Frederick Teitman oversees the manufacturing schedule, sales forecasting, and delivery of electrical drive systems that include wheel motors, microprocessor controls, and alternators. Since assuming his current position at GE in 2010, in which he oversees material availability, margin targets, quarterly revenue, finished goods inventory, and on-time delivery, Frederick Teitman has achieved a record volume of revenue growth for three successive quarters. Frederick Teitman works directly with GE clients on a daily basis, ensuring that customers receive up-to-date product information, timely order fulfillment, and price quotes. Before climbing to Commercial Operations Manager, Frederick Teitman filled the position of Commodity Leader for GE Transportation Systems. Selected by the division to manage the reduction of slow moving inventory, which required the development of a new system to identify methods of tracking opportunities to minimize inventory, Frederick Teitman served as a member of a committee responsible for improving key management processes in GE factories that involved line presentation, logistics, ordering methods, and inventory levels. He succeeded in eliminating 75 percent of redundant work and initiated a sales incentive program that resulted in a 40 percent decrease in inventory. Frederick Teitman successfully completed GE’s Information and Management Leadership Program in 2003 and holds Lean Six Sigma Certification. The recipient of the GE Intern Mentor of the Year Award, Mr. Teitman is ranked among the Top Talent at GE Transportation. He has served as a volunteer at Northern Ireland peace camps and on behalf of disadvantaged children. Frederick Teitman received a B.A. in Advertising from Pennsylvania State University, in University Park, where he also studied Sociology and Information Systems.
