Gareth Bissland has been involved in several successful IT start-ups since first leaving Christchurch 11 years ago. After helping start one of the first ISPs in New Zealand, Gareth moved to Australia to launch iHug where he remained as their CEO for 8 years. Most recently Gareth has been a business coach consulting for businesses in HR, marketing strategies and IT policies.

At BUZZ, along with jointly running the business from a strategic perspective, Gareth is responsible for running the “back-end” including IT and Finance. Gareth brings to BUZZ not only his experience in Senior Management, IT & HR, but a local Christchurch perspective and a general excitement about adding value to your business through smart hiring decisions.
