MBA with a focus in international development34, Kigali, RwandaGarron graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Foreign Affairs and a concentration in Sub-Saharan African politics. Having studied abroad both at Oxford and the Sorbonne, he made his way back to Europe through a marketing job at Lucent Technologies in Nuremberg, Germany. Wanting to combine business and politics, he relocated to Washington DC where he spent three years at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, as an international trade analyst. Garron then obtained an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in International Development and was a member of the Lauder Institute, obtaining a MA in International Studies while concentrating on business French. He also piloted the Institute’s coursework in African studies, which is now an integral part of the Lauder experience. Following business school, Garron joined McKinsey & Company as an Associate in the Brussels office, where he served as a strategic consultant, having completed projects worldwide, including in the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Luxembourg. Currently he is at the OTF Group, a strategy firm that specializes in economic development and increasing competitiveness in developing nations. He is based in Kigali, Rwanda. Garron Hansen's Schools
