Gautam has always been a dreamer who likes to make his dreams into reality. An avid photographer and painter in his off time, he has been designing applications since he was in his teens.

Gautam founded his first company in 1995 after he gradutated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering but the company he formed Zodiac Communications was the first Internet technology firm in central india. In the meanwhile Gautam completed his MBA in Marketing in 1998 while running his own firm.His company fast became the leading web design and hosting company in the region and was acquired by Satyam Infoway (NASDAQ:SIFY) in 1999. Gautam was put in charge of central India’s first private Internet Service Provider network by Satyam who kept him on as the Director of their Nagpur (India) center.
In 2000 Gautam decided to accept a job offer in the United States and came to the Silicon Valley. Gautam joined Actuate Corporation as their webmaster in 2000 and currently serves as their Director of Online Marketing and Technology.

In 2006 Gautam decided to give shape to another one of his dream projects i.e. http://www.publicdecision.com which is a site which is meant to let people realize and express their real personalities and Strength of Opinion. It includes a completely new way of debating on the internet with Virtual Fights in which people can take part individually or call on their friends to support them.If you have anything you want to confess, you can do so anonymously at the site too, and let the people decide the depth of your sin. Gautam is also working on a Online Reputation Management concept in http://myrep.me which is in Beta stage right now.

In his spare time Gautam loves to shoot great pictures and go on long drives and think about new ideas for life…
