Founded by George Dennis in 1998, TV Ears is currently the number one brand for wireless TV listening devices. Designed for those who have experienced hearing loss or who need additional assistance hearing clearly, TV Ears’ product line includes wireless headsets, televisions, speakers, and universal remotes. Prior to founding TV Ears, George Dennis worked as the Operations Officer at VQ OrthoCare, a medical device and orthopedic equipment company. Key accomplishments during his five-year career with the company included transitioning the company from DOS to Windows operating systems and introducing the company to several large associated firms, including Depuy, Striker, and J&J. Dennis’ background in product marketing and brand building proved invaluable when founding TV Ears, as a key function of his role as Chief Executive Officer is growing and guiding the TV Ears brand. Before entering the medical device field, Dennis studied at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business, graduating with a degree in finance and accounting in 1983. While there, he made the Hornbeck Scholar’s list, which is a designation awarded to undergraduate students for exceptional academic achievement. His dedication to growing the TV Ears business was recognized in 2009 when Ernst & Young chose George Dennis as a finalist for its Entrepreneur of the Year award. When not busy running the still-expanding TV Ears, Dennis enjoys sporting activities such as snowboarding, running, and golf, and also supports the National Senior Games Association.
