George Kalivretenos possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business from University of Maryland. In his third year in the undergraduate program, George Kalivretenos balanced his time between studying for his business courses and attending various seminars and workshops on homebuilding. Since 1976, he has also taught other industry professionals about marketing and construction. George Kalivretenos briefly served as a member of the American Management Association from 1985 to 1986. At present, George Kalivretenos operates as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Holdings LLC in Florida. Focusing on the development of residential properties for multi-family and single-family occupancy, George Kalivretenos uses his vast experience in the industry to also handle land acquisitions, development, construction, and marketing. Additionally, he manages the company’s financial assets and budgets. In 1987, George Kalivretenos started in the homebuilding industry at Rylea Homes, Inc. Having demonstrated his skills and knowledge in the industry garnered from the workshops he attended in the 1970s, George Kalivretenos served as Division President of company operations in Virginia. There, he handled all aspects of the business including administrative duties and facilitating and supervising all areas of building projects. His experience at Rylea Homes garnered him an impressive and thorough skill set that often earned him leadership positions in various construction companies. He left Rylea Homes in 1989, when he went on to join Sequoia Building Corporation. From 1991 to 1997, George Kalivretenos functioned as Vice President of Operations for Keystone Hattie Homes Inc. In 1997, he joined Sunland Custom Homes Inc. and operated as Regional Vice President of Operations. By the time he left in 2002, he managed the company as Division President.
