About George Rosic
United States Tennis Association player Mr. Greg Rosic is currently an undergraduate at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Studying in the College of Science with a focus on chemistry, Greg Rosic has been interested in the subject since high school. As a senior at Evanston Township High School, Greg Rosic was honored with the Lowell Hall Chemistry Award, which recognizes the AP Chemistry student who shows the most promise. During his college career, Greg Rosic has participated in the National Chemistry Olympiad and has engaged in a number of research pursuits. At present, Greg Rosic is involved with the study of fluorescent silica particles. Last year, Greg Rosic participated in an intensive undergraduate summer research program, working on a project that he presented at the university’s Biological, Engineering, and Chemical Undergraduate Research (BECUR) Conference. When not engaged with his studies, Greg Rosic tutors Tucson high school students in a number of mathematical subjects, including algebra and geometry. Greg Rosic enjoys helping students to understand the underlying general mathematical concepts that will allow them to master the subjects. Recreationally, Greg Rosic enjoys running and reading, listing The Sun Also Rises and Light in August as among his favorite novels. Greg Rosic also volunteers at Evercare Hospice and St. Luke’s Home.
