A graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School, Gerald D. Secundy currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance (CCEEB). In his role at CCEEB, Gerald D. Secundy leverages his extensive understanding of business, his familiarity with the activities of regulatory agencies, and his connections within the environmental community to influence public policy in an actionable, positive manner. Prior to joining CCEEB in 2007, Gerald D. Secundy applied his leadership skills as the Vice Chair of the California State Water Resources Control Board.

In addition to facilitating the activities of the California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance, Gerald D. Secundy acts as the Executive Advisor to the California Environmental Dialogue (CED), a non-profit effort to facilitate on-going dialogue among the state's top environmentalists, business leaders, and government officials. In his capacity as CED's Executive Advisor, Gerald D. Secundy goes to great lengths to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of California's environmental regulatory system, developing innovative policy solutions designed to bolster the economy and preserve natural resources.

Outside of his work with the California Environmental Dialogue and the California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance, Gerald D. Secundy maintains ties with a number of other organizations dedicated to building strong and healthy communities in the Golden State and across the country. Gerald D. Secundy is a member of Prescott College's Board of Trustees, as well as a participant in the activities of the Board of Lignetics. A manufacturer of environmentally engineered wood pellets and other fire starters, Lignetics is a company founded on the principles of environmental stewardship championed by CCEEB and CED. Before he chose to devote his time and energy to Prescott College and Lignetics, Gerald D. Secundy functioned as a Board Member of the Center for Nonprofit Management and as the President of the Planning and Conservation League.
