Gil Solnin, after decades of noteworthy success as a senior-level marketer in the beverage industry, now serves as a Principal at Marketing Ventures, a consulting firm in New York. With more than 45 marketing and business development efforts under his belt, Gil Solnin draws on a wealth of expertise as well as his characteristic sense of innovation in all of his endeavors. Early in his career, Gil Solnin was employed by advertising agencies and a consultancy. Working with Fortune 500 companies, Gil Solnin earned cross-industry experience, particularly in new product development. From 1984 to 1996, Gilbert Solnin held a variety of different roles at Seagram, bringing his creativity and skill to work with brands like Seagram 7, Chivas Regal, and The Glenlivet. By the end of his tenure with the company, Gil Solnin had been selected as Group Marketing Director for globally marketed brands at Seagram. Adding to his already numerous accomplishments with the company, Gil Solnin was chosen to rejuvenate the Crown Royal brand and reposition it as the most profitable within the company. Gil Solnin placed Crown Royal on a pace of dynamic growth during the eight years he stewarded the brand, and it is now the most profitable in the industry. Gil Solnin holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the City University of New York.
