Gillian Christie has built teams of brand building experts across the country, with a client roster that stretches from start-ups to global brands. Over the years, Gillian has developed a vast array of Christie Communications’ proprietary technologies that help companies create the greatest impact with the least amount of their resources, ranging from Conversion Market Research™ to Organic Marketing™ Technologies, and many others. Through her innovations in the field of marketing and iconic brand building, Gillian has continued to build Christie Communications’ impact and that of her clients with the company’s expanded business model, Making Peace Profitable™. In 1983, Gillian Christie started her own company, Christie Consulting, developing and implementing business and marketing strategies for expanding companies. After many successful years as a consultant and business manager, she started Christie Communications, Inc., using her talent and training in Public Relations and media relations to help companies reach their goals. Gillian remains extremely active in charity and community affairs. She currently sits on the boards of SCORE, HumaniTourism, and Safe Harbor, a non-profit organization for Alternative Mental Health. She and her socially and environmentally responsible team at Christie Communications are very active in non-profit organizations such as the Weidemann Foundation, Green2Gold, the Environmental Education Group, Citizens’ Commission on Human Rights, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Safe Haven Horse Rescue, Nourish America, Safe Water International, CAN-DO Organization, the International Women’s Festivals, Chad Relief Foundation, the Institute for the Achievement of Human Potential, Aid Still Required, Playful Planet Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara High School’s Entrepreneurship Class (Dons Net Café), the American Botanical Council, amongst many others. To advance Christie Communications’ social mission even further, Gillian Christie and Alissa Sears pioneered Christie Communications’ Global Betterment Sector, the establishment of the Christie Communications’ Entrepreneurial Development Wing, and most recently, the Christie CommUnity Foundation.
