Ginger Berman cares for dogs (and cats) of all sizes and personalities at Brooklyn Woof Walkers. Serving Brooklyn Heights as well as DUMBO, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, and Boerum Hill, Ginger Berman and Brooklyn Woof Walkers have earned a stellar reputation for loving care, reliability, and professional service.

In her day-to-day work at Brooklyn Woof Walkers, Ginger Berman walks, runs, grooms, feeds, plays with, and shows unconditional love for her clients’ best friends. Ginger Berman is also happy to take pets to vet appointments, administer medications, follow special diet guidelines, and board animals in her home when owners are on vacation. Ginger Berman has even taken clients’ pets along on her own trips so that they can enjoy frolicking on the beach, hiking in the woods, and field trips into town.

Ginger Berman manages three other pet care professionals who have joined Brooklyn Woof Walkers from a variety of backgrounds. Generally musicians or artists by trade, they are dog-lovers, animal-lovers all.

A biologist by training, Ginger Berman applies her knowledge of animal needs and behavior to her work with pets at Brooklyn Woof Walkers. A former educator, Ginger Berman has taught in Jamaica as well as the United States. Ginger Berman also was an Acquisitions Editor at Johns Hopkins University Press, where she specialized in the commission of scientific books for general readers as well as for specialists. In her free time, Ginger Berman enjoys reading, hiking, watching the birds with the dogs, and going on the occasional scuba dive to keep up her marine biology chops!
