Gregory Daviscourt enthusiastically supports Restoring Hope International, a nonprofit established by Rick Daviscourt that builds schools, soup kitchens, and interdenominational churches in Peru.

Restoring Hope International’s mission is based on the idea that technological advances have made the world increasingly interconnected. To Gregory Daviscourt and Restoring Hope International, this means that we are all increasingly responsible for one another. Gregory Daviscourt has chosen not to turn a blind eye to the sufferings of others.

Contributions of time, energy, and funds by Gregory Daviscourt and others like him make a significant difference in the lives of Peruvian teenagers and children. At the moment, Restoring Hope International operates a number of projects, including Arequipa’s Torre Fuerte Home for Girls, where neglected and abused children receive a second chance at a loving family. Restoring Hope International has also begun work in the towns of Pachacutec and Horacio Zevallos, where they operate a soup kitchen and a small shop selling food and sundries.

One of Restoring Hope International’s long-term goals is to restore economic independence to those it serves, strengthening Peruvian infrastructure and returning dignity to those forced to live in poverty.
