For more than 20 years, Guy Underkoffler has operated in various aspects of the hotel and hospitality industry, serving in a financial capacity for major resorts throughout the United States. Growing up in Williamstown, Pennsylvania, Guy Underkoffler was an honors student at Williams Valley High School, where he participated in the performing arts, produced the school yearbook, and was a member of the wrestling team. Upon graduation from Williams Valley High School, Guy Underkoffler won a scholarship to Harrisburg Area Community College, studying business administration and art for two years.

After receiving his Associate degree in Business from Harrisburg Area Community College, Guy Underkoffler chose to continue his education at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and narrowed his academic focus to the accounting and data processing disciplines. In May 1988, Guy Underkoffler graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.B.A. and immediately secured a position with Interstate Hotels Corporation as Accounting Manager at the Harrisburg Marriott.

From June 1988 through April 1995, Guy Underkoffler worked for several Interstate Hotels properties, including the Sheraton Brickell Point Miami, the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, the Pala Mesa Resort, and the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf. During this period, Guy Underkoffler earned a string of promotions, moving up from Accounting Manager to Assistant Controller, and finally Controller. At the end of his tenure with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Guy Underkoffler served the San Diego County Bar Association as Controller, then returned to the hotel and hospitality industry at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Since then, Guy Underkoffler has served as a Controller for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. at various Los Angeles properties; Controller at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica; and Controller for Aqua Hotels & Resorts. Today, Guy Underkoffler serves as Senior Vice President of Operations at Aqua Hotels & Resorts, where he manages 15 hotel and condotel properties across Hawaii.
