Hannah Nieskens has cultivated a career in education, training, and leadership. Currently an Instructional Specialist with Wolf Point School District in Montana, Hannah Nieskens is committed to enriching children’s development through engaging educational programs. During her academic career, Hannah Nieskens procured an array of leadership and teaching experience. Hannah Nieskens was awarded a presidential scholarship to attend Montana State University. While earning her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Nieskens taught a combined 5th and 6th grade classroom at a Lavina Public School. Hannah Nieskens graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Montana State University. In the period between her undergraduate and graduate study, Nieskens worked as an elementary school teacher with Billings Public Schools, where she implemented constructive improvements to its 5th and 6th grade classrooms. Hannah Nieskens continued to teach with Billings Public Schools while earning her Master’s degrees. Hannah Nieskens earned her Master of Education in K-12 School Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her Master of Education in Educational Technology from Lesley University. Hannah Nieskens has employed her training in a myriad of teaching positions. As an Educational Computing Strategist with Clark County School District, Hannah Nieskens oversaw the integration of new technology and computer software into the school’s classrooms and ensured the teaching staff employed it effectively. Hannah Nieskens’ wealth of experience has equipped her with exceptional insight into the needs of young students. In her current position, as an Instructional Specialist, Hannah Nieskens offers critical support to students in grades 7-12 in need of academic improvement, as well as provides training in research-based teaching methods to teachers in Wolf Point School district. Hannah Nieskens has received numerous awards over the last 14 years, including the MSU Women of Achievement 2000 award. Hannah Nieskens was also the winner of the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Teacher’s Program, receiving the opportunity to teach in Japan for a year. Nieskens is a member of several honor societies, namely Phi Kappa Phi, Kappa Delta Pi, and the Gold Key National Honor Society.
