An alumnus of Université de Laval, Faculté de médecine, Dr. Harold Zilberman earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Canadian institution before moving on to McGill University, where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship. Having finished his internship and residency in pediatrics through the Montreal Children’s Hospital of MUHC (McGill University Health Centre), Dr. Harold Zilberman did the third year of fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario, which is now known as the Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.

Dr. Harold Zilberman obtained certification in general pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics in 1995 and joined the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario as an Emergency Pediatrician in 1997. The following year, he acquired certification from the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric emergency medicine. In 1999, Dr. Harold Zilberman accepted a position with Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Nevada as a Pediatric Emergency Physician.

After 11 years with Sunrise Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Department, Dr. Harold Zilberman turned his full attention to private practice at Nevada Pediatric Specialists where he is Medical Director. Providing pediatric care to local patients, he and his associates utilize electronic medical systems to store patients’ records, making information more readily accessible, and to order prescriptions at preferred pharmacies, expediting the process of obtaining medication.

Remaining involved in the academic sphere, Dr. Harold Zilberman also serves as volunteer clinical faculty for the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) and Assistant Professor of Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has taught courses on Pediatric Advanced Life Support and participated on hospital committees such as the Trauma Committee and the Pediatric Performance Improvement Committee.

Dr. Harold Zilberman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He also belongs to the American College of Emergency Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
