Many people want to write a book. Of the ones that do, they don’t instantaneously or magically become authors over night. The problem is, as much as authors want their own book this desire is often not as eagerly embraced by publishers or editors. Every day, countless would-be published authors are rejected with carefully selected words or with a pre-standard letter. Hauke Wagner and his colleagues at Wagner Verlag GmbH are different from the rest of the publishing crowd. They are looking for authors who can translate their ideas, experiences or their stories into a book “to pack”. They are authors themselves, and they want to publish books. As such, Wagner Verlag has put poems, novels, fantasy novels, mystery, animal stories, children’s books, youth and non-fiction books – any type of work is considered, even experimental new ideas. Hauke Wagner and his staff know that writers come from many different areas of life and therefore have different concerns. Their office considers a publication suitable for print once the author’s text has been assessed for quality. After this and the payment of small fee Walker Verlag’s work begins. Text and graphic designers work with the author to “shape” his book. If the author is satisfied with such work, the book will go to print. Publication usually takes 4 to 5 months, after which time it is ready to hit the market. Wagner Verlag GmbH responds to submitted manuscripts within 14 business days. Their publisher is located between the old and new geographical heart of Germany and as such is easily accessible by all traffic routes. When Hauke Wagner is not running Wagner Verlag, he enjoys staying active by swimming. Beyond that, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
