Educator29, Stratford, ConnecticutA skilled educator, Helene Kozma holds a Master of Science in Education from Capella University and a Masters in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Adelphi University. Currently, she is a professional educator at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Connecticut and at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and holds certifications and licensures in the State of Connecticut in Business and English. Helene Kozma has been cited several times in Marquis’ “Who’s Who in America,” “Who’s Who in American Women,” and “Who’s Who in American Education,” and she was a reviewer for “Writing for Life” by D.J. Henry in 2007. She is a former member of the National Council of Teachers of English, a current member of the American Association of University Women, and a former Officer in Toastmasters. Helene Kozma worked as an administrative assistant and financial analyst for five years, during which time she was responsible for the analysis, evaluation, and recommendation of financials from providers to estimate the benefits of her corporation facilitating business with external corporations. In the following years, Helene Kozma pursued a teaching career, becoming an instructor at St. Vincent’s College, Sacred Heart University, and Housatonic Community College. Helene Kozma now has more than a decade of teaching experience, and her areas of expertise range from Business Communications to Developmental English. She has also taught courses on various forms of rhetoric, effective communication, keyboarding, academic skills development, and developmental studies. Never one to miss a learning opportunity, Helene Kozma’s favorite hobbies includes such educational pastimes as reading books on professional development and personal finance. |
