Advancing in the company’s ranks, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. was named Vice President of Sales and Leasing in the company’s Apparel Division in 1987. In 1993, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of New Business Development at AmericasMart Atlanta, a job he held for six years. In 1999, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. was named Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing and was instrumental in the company’s phenomenal success over the following 10 years. At AmericasMart Atlanta, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. oversaw the 2.1-million-square-foot Apparel Mart, featuring 550 permanent showrooms and 5,000 temporary booths, and initiated a comprehensive business plan that included innovative approaches for marketing, sales, and retail service. Henry Lawton Hall Jr. organized a temporary apparel trade show that overtook and eventually replaced an existing production. Henry Lawton Hall Jr. also created the Fashion Accessories & Fine Jewelry Center and the Resort & Gift Center, both of which increased revenues and resulted in higher occupancy overall at AmericasMart Atlanta. Starting in 2001, Henry Lawton Hall Jr. assumed another role at AmericasMart Atlanta, when he became Chief Operating Officer of AmericasMart.com, a website launched in 1998 to facilitate the online sale of exhibitor products.
