Hillary Everist is a wine consultant based in Kansas City, MO. A 2000 graduate of Washington & Lee University, Hillary spent a year working for the Institute of Economic Affairs and International Policy Network in London, followed by international lobbying on behalf of American biotech interests. After a year at the Darden Graduate School of Business (UVA), family matters drew her back to Kansas City, where she has interned as a hospital chaplain and taught Latin and history in a Catholic girls’ school. She is currently in the midst of completing her Diploma with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (www.wset.co.uk) and hopes to one day be admitted to the Master of Wines program (www.mastersofwine.org)
