Howard Klein attended Concordia University from 1996 to 2000, graduating with distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems. While obtaining his Bachelor’s degree, Mr. Klein worked as a Technical Specialist and in Call Center Operations at TotalNet. While there, he acquired technical skills and experience that went hand-in-hand with the management information systems major. In 2000, Howard Klein began working for Optimal Payments Plc as Director of Risk Management. Mr. Klein maintained this position for six years before the company promoted him to Executive Vice President of Risk Management. As an 11-year veteran of Optimal Payments, he has assisted the company in expanding and enhancing its products and services. Mr. Klein has improved Optimal Payments’ NETBANX payment processing system. This system allows merchants to accept both card and non-card payments through their websites and other channels. The NETBANX system remains a leading service to myriad businesses including e-commerce enterprises and government agencies. Howard Klein continually applies his technical expertise to developing the NETBANX system, employing new tools and applications into the system. As such, Optimal Payments improves its capabilities to protect its clients against even the most recent fraud trends.
