A graduate of Indiana University with a Master’s degree in Public Affairs, Ian Lasics, an experienced systems analyst, can claim more than nine years in design, implementation, and project management. Starting out as a business analyst and programmer, Ian Lasics performed team code and testing reviews; led requirements meetings; developed detailed design documents; and created and performed system test conditions, test scripts, and test plans. Ian Lasics also developed system customizations and enhancements in PeopleTools, SQR, nVision, and Crystal.

Continuing his path toward a career in systems analysis, Ian Lasics accepted a position with Accenture as an experienced consultant. There, Ian Lasics specialized in PeopleSoft Financials and student ERP implementations and gained expertise in software life-cycle execution and general computer system controls. Ian Lasics also achieved promotion to Business Team Lead in 1999; in this role, his responsibilities included documenting all student finance process flow for the university system and facilitating knowledge transfer sessions with senior mangers to assist in the transition to a new ERP system. Ian Lasics also designed and co-managed a project to create a custom student work-entry system. As Team Lead, he created accounts receivables modifications and government required regulatory reports, as well.

The University of Minnesota later hired Ian Lasics as a business analyst, and there, he coordinated with the development team for PeopleSoft maintenance and implementation. Ian Lasics also worked with enterprise systems teams (i.e., Human Resources management systems, finance, the Web) to ensure functional compatibility across enterprise projects and supervised functional testers for testing automation. Later offered the position of Project Coordinator, Ian Lasics took on additional responsibilities, including the development and execution of testing plans and automated testing tools. Ian Lasics also ensured that standard methodologies were used for the analysis, design, development, and testing of PeopleSoft modifications. Ian Lasics took a job with Oracle Corporation in 2005 and currently holds a position there as Senior Sales Consultant.
