Currently, Dr. J. Craig Stevens is the Medical Director for Occupational Health at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho.Sandpoint, IdahoDr. J. Craig Stevens completed his work in mathematics at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania before enrolling at New York Medical College. He graduated with his medical degree in 1976 and completed an internship at Lankenau Medical Center, located outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1977, Dr. J. Craig Stevens began a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, also in Philadelphia. During his residency, he performed duties as a house physician at Saint Agnes Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia. Upon completion of his postgraduate training, Dr. J. Craig Stevens served as a department medical director at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he held the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Following his naval service, Dr. J. Craig Stevens accepted the role of Medical Director in the Short Stay Rehabilitation Unit at Revitz House in Rockville, Maryland. While working at Revitz House, Dr. J. Craig Stevens also served as an electromyographer at a medical practice in Silver Spring, Maryland, and as a Physician Advisor with the Montgomery County Treatment Centers for Crippled Children and Adults. From 1980 to 1994, Dr. J. Craig Stevens was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine, where he instructed students through didactic lectures and instructed residents in their clinical rotations. In 1983, Dr. J. Craig Stevens took a position as Medical Director in the Sibley Center for Rehabilitation Medicine at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. He took on similar responsibilities at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney, Maryland in 1987 and worked as the sole electromyographer for both hospitals. He also performed physiatric consultations and led the efforts of a team of occupational and physical therapists. Currently, Dr. J. Craig Stevens practices medicine at his offices in Sandpoint, Post Falls, and Lewiston, Idaho. Building on his extensive background in rehabilitation medicine, he manages the treatment of workplace injuries and nerve injuries. A noted expert in his field, Dr. J.
