Leveraging years of experiences in business accounting, Jackie Holovka has held the dual positions of President and Co-owner of The Book Works, Inc. and PayCheck Connection since 1982 and 2006, respectively. Offering clients a wide range of services, including payroll management, employee benefits, general bookkeeping, and annual tax preparation, Jackie Holovka continually seeks ways to change her business to better serve her clients’ needs.

Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jackie Holovka began her business career in the San Francisco Bay Area. While working as the office manager of an Oakland-based dentistry, Jackie Holovka took on the management of the dentist’s other venture, a local pizza restaurant. Simultaneously managing the responsibilities of both businesses, Jackie Holovka decided to found her own company, which was the beginning of The Book Works.

Desiring to return to her hometown, Jackie Holovka moved her businesses to their current location in Hayden, Idaho in 1992. Despite her move, Jackie Holovka’s significant abilities as an accounting and HR professional have allowed her to maintain a large number of clients from California and acquire new clients from Washington, Colorado, Texas, and elsewhere.

Highly involved in her local business community, Jackie Holovka is currently a member of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce and is affiliated with the Idaho Character Council. On a national scale, Jackie Holovka is also active in her industry through membership in both the American Payroll Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Prior to beginning her career in business, Jackie Holovka attended North Idaho College. During her collegiate years, Jackie Holovka was an avid athlete participating in softball and in the Junior Olympic swim team. Continuing her active lifestyle, Jackie Holovka also enjoys skiing and hiking.
