For more than two decades, physiologist and international business executive James Lafferty has served in over 35 countries, training key personnel in more than 50 markets around the world. A former track and field coach with a B.A. in Psychology and Physiology from the University of Cincinnati, James Lafferty also served as a fitness trainer and stress management consultant to large businesses. In 1986, Lafferty joined Procter & Gamble as a Brand Assistant in the Personal Care Division at the company’s Cincinnati headquarters, moving up the ranks to assume various leadership positions. James Lafferty functioned as Procter & Gamble’s Country Manager for the Near East, General Manager for Poland/Baltics and Warsaw regions, Vice President for Western Europe Family Care, and President and General Manager for the Philippines. James Lafferty joined The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc., then was elected President of the Soap and Detergent Association and Co-Chairman of ECR Asia Pacific. At present, James Lafferty functions as the CEO of Nigerian Bottling Company Plc., a part of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling in West Africa, located in Lagos, Nigeria. Lafferty also holds ties to East Africa as co-founder and Vice President of the Kilimanjaro Blind Trust, which aids children who are blind. Committed to helping others, James Lafferty administered life-saving CPR to a septuagenarian who experienced cardiac arrest at an airport in Nagoya, Japan, in 2006. The Philippine National Red Cross Rizal Chapter honored James Lafferty for his heroism in 2007. In his leisure time, James Lafferty enjoys keeping fit by running in various marathons and mountaineering.
