Vice President of BR Wholesale RV & Marine
For more than 15 years, James LeBelle has been immersed in a wide variety of professional endeavors, ranging from business management to entrepreneurship. A native of Massachusetts, James LeBelle attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he studied Business Administration and Marketing. Graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May 1993 with a degree in Business Administration, James LeBelle would go on to hold a number of managerial and executive roles over the next several years. In one of his first business endeavors, James LeBelle ran a bicycle retail store in Massachusetts. From there, James LeBelle joined the staff at KVH Industries Incorporated in Middletown, Rhode Island, where he spent five years laying the foundations for an enduring career in sales. During his time as a sales representative for KVH Industries Incorporated, James LeBelle sold numerous satellite and mobile Internet products for use in RVs, marine vehicles, and more. A longtime resident of Westport, Massachusetts, James LeBelle formerly owned and operated Village Bicycle, a popular bike and bike component shop located in the Central Village area. Through Village Bicycle, James LeBelle sold products from such major manufacturers as LaPierre Bicycle, Bianchi USA, Marin Bikes, KHS Bicycles, and the Cannondale Sports Group. Highly regarded for his pleasant demeanor and dedication to community outreach, James LeBelle supports cancer research through the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In November 2009, James LeBelle secured a position with Stag-Parkway, Inc. as Southeast Regional Sales Manager. Currently based out of Stag-Parkway’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, James LeBelle focuses his attention on the sale of his company’s after-market RV parts and accessories to clients throughout the Southeastern United States.

A sales, marketing, and management professional, James LeBelle has over 15 years of experience providing outdoor sporting, manufacturing, and distribution companies with valuable insight. Currently the Vice President of BR Wholesale RV & Marine, James LeBelle contributes his extensive knowledge and expertise to help grow the company and expand its reach throughout the country. We spoke with James LeBelle to discuss his recent career move and the past positions that have shaped his professional life.
Q. Recently, you accepted the position of Vice President of BR Wholesale & Marine. How has your focus changed, and what are your new priorities?
A. As the Regional Sales Manager at Stag-Parkway, Inc., a company that provides products and services to RV dealers, I focused on marketing efforts within the Southeastern United States. During this time, I managed 2 branches and 17 employees. Today, the scope of my responsibilities has increased greatly. I now have oversight on a much larger scale. I also evaluate marketing and sales strategies for the company as a whole, rather than analyzing regional operations alone.
Q. Can you describe your previous experiences in marketing?
A. Early on in my career, I worked to create marketing plans and presentations for a wide array of groups and clients. I have also implemented marketing strategies through extensive public relations efforts, utilizing news programs, television appearances, and print ads. My experience includes everything from call center sales team management to consumer-based marketing programs specifically designed for target demographics.
Q. Where did you complete your studies before entering into the professional world?
A. I earned my Associate degree from Montgomery Community College and went on to achieve my Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Basic Camping Safety – by James LeBelle, James LeBelle's Blog on Bigsight

A seasoned outdoorsman, James LeBelle currently serves as the Vice President of BR Wholesale RV & Marine, a company that provides electrical products, accessories, and repair parts to RV service centers, dealerships, and retailers across the country and worldwide. James LeBelle has also completed a number of long-range bicycle competitions, including the World’s Toughest Bicycle Race, the Race Across America. Here he presents a few basic tips for staying safe in the great outdoors.
1. Go prepared: Pack a basic emergency first aid kit including bandages, tape, antiseptic wipes, scissors, tweezers, splinting materials and antibiotic ointment. If you plan to camp in an area with poison ivy, it may be a good idea to bring poison ivy cream. Make sure you have a basic understanding of first aid for common injuries, including cuts and broken bones.
2. Practice food safety: Do not pack easily spoiled foods if possible, and keep all perishable items in an ice chest or other cooler. Do not attempt to feed wild animals, as they can be unpredictable. It is safest not to keep food in your tent, as this can attract animals. Store it safely away or hang it from a tree if you are concerned about bears or other animals.
3. Be aware: Keep an eye out for snakes, insects, and spiders. These small animals are common in the wilderness and will generally avoid people if they can. Remember to wear sunscreen and sunglasses to avoid sunburn and heat stroke. Stay in pairs when hiking, and remember to tell others where you plan to go and approximately when you’ll return. Bring water, snacks, matches, and a flashlight, as well as a GPS unit if you have one.
4. Consider the weather: Weather patterns can change quickly, and it is important to be prepared for a range of possibilities. Avoid placing your tent on low ground if rain is possible, in order to avoid flooding. Bring warm clothes in case of cool temperatures.
