James Parrott is a successful entrepreneur with years of experience.

James Parrott has been the driving force behind a multi-million-dollar group purchasing organization (GPO) since the business opened in 2008. Joining MedResults Network as President, James Parrott helped establish the GPO to provide aesthetic physicians and medical spas access to high-quality vendors with negotiated volume discounts. Parrott’s current strategy includes adding to the company’s number of quality vendors as well as to its network members.

Until January 2011, James Parrott served as the company’s sole operating member. Since that time, and with changes made to grow the business, MedResults has expanded its vendor list and has negotiated agreements to bring in leading national vendors such as E-Compounding Pharmacy, South Bay Laser Rental, and Lorrie Thomas Web Marketing. In addition, MedResults now boasts some 500 members, with 100 of those new members acquired during one recent quarter.

Also, in June 2011, James Parrott announced that MedResults had reached a cooperative agreement with Atlanta-based New Source, a GPO for the alternate care market with more than 10,000 members. The combined resources of New Source and MedResults create a coast-to-coast buying network with powerful leveraging abilities to deliver the best prices and resources to the membership.

In addition to maintaining a busy schedule with MedResults, James Parrott recently became an Associate with SageGroup Strategies, Inc., a world leader in proactive turnaround strategies to assist financially distressed companies. James Parrott acts as part of the Health Industry Services Program, providing troubled health care firms with business planning and managerial guidance to help them move forward.

James Parrott launched his long and successful career after completing a Master of Business Administration at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Graduating with high honors, he is a member of Orange County Mensa and American Mensa, Ltd.

    James Parrott, the cofounder and President of MedResults in Huntington Beach, California, understands the importance of physical exercise. An avid golfer, James Parrott has seen many novices struggle with driving the ball a consistent, long distance. Many times, he attributes this struggle to the grip that the golfer uses. Unfortunately, too many golfers ascribe to the idea that a strong grip results in a strong drive. In reality, the opposite proves true. The best golfers use a firm grip, but not one that places a great deal of pressure on the club’s handle. Ideally, the golfer should hold the club with the same pressure as one would clutch a hard-boiled egg without breaking it. Without tension in the hands, the club falls naturally through its arc, accelerated by gravity. The downswing should depend much more on this natural force than any force put on the club by the golfer, which generally fights against gravity, resulting in a weak shot.
