A board-certified physician based in Pennsylvania, Dr. James Taterka draws on two decades of professional experience in his role as a practicing physician in the Philadelphia area. At present, Dr. James Taterka serves as a physician and expert in gastroenterology at the Hillmont G.I., PC, medical center in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. As a practicing physician at Hillmont G.I., PC, Dr. James Taterka possesses a variety of administrative and medical responsibilities. He performs all major gastroenterological procedures at the facility and is also responsible for general patient care, as well as educating the residents working under him. In addition to his role at Hillmont G.I., PC, Dr. James Taterka also serves as Medical Director of the Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. James Taterka specializes in treating colon cancer and liver diseases, as well as performing therapeutic endoscopy. In addition to his work as a physician, Dr. James Taterka serves as an active member of his community and generously donates to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the American Jewish Congress, and the Clinton Global Initiative. In his free time, Dr. James Taterka enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, gardening, and reading. His favorite authors include Thomas Pynchon, James Joyce, and Leo Trotsky.
