Jamie P. Magnon was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1976 and attended Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School, the home of the Eagles. From 1995 to 2001, he worked at Bally Total Fitness in Columbus, where he was the Club General Manager and mainly responsible for increasing sales in terms of membership. Jamie Magnon executed his job excellently, overseeing the club’s operations so well he was given performance awards. Jamie Magnon left the health and fitness industry for a short while to attend Ohio State University (OSU). He studied both Business and Psychology in college, but received a Bachelor’s degree in Business only. While also competing in collegiate athletics during his junior and senior years at OSU, Jamie Magnon still found the time to work out every day of the week. He further filled his time by participating in youth programs. Currently, Jamie Magnon is affiliated with several charities. He is a member of Habitat for Humanity, which is an international non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters, which is the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States. For a while, Jamie Magnon used to be the JV baseball coach for his old high school, but today, he continues to keep busy by playing many sports, such as baseball, football, and golf. Traveling is not far down on his list of fun things to do, as he also likes to be out in nature climbing, hiking, boating, swimming, and snowboarding.
